Current Regional Junior Tournaments

National Capital Squash lists on this page all the junior tournaments in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Be sure you read the “How Junior Tournaments Work” page before entering tournaments.

US SQUASH sanctions many tournaments in our region this season.  Here are tournaments that have been announced to date but not been played yet, with links to entry forms where available:

May 25-27, 2013 Squash Revolution DC Gold Presented by Oliver Rackets, Washington DC. Deadline, May 15, 12 Noon. Late entry deadline is May 15 at 12 Noon, but you may not get in via late entry.

June 8-9, 2013 Meadow Mill June Silver, Baltimore, Deadline May 29.  Late entries on a space available basis. Play will begin Saturday no earlier than 10 AM.

June 22-23, 2013 Trifecta 5 Bronze, Chevy Chase Athletic Club, Chevy Chase, MD

June 29-30, Baltimore Bronze Juniors, Meadow Mill Athletic Club, Baltimore, Deadline June 19.  Late entries on a space available basis. Play will begin Saturday no earlier than 10 AM.

July 13-14, 2013 Bare Hills Summer Silver, Baltimore.  Deadline July 3, 12 PM.

July 27-28, Charlottesville Junior Open (Bronze), McArthur Squash Center At Boar’s Head Sports Club, Charlottesville, VA.  Deadline July 17.

August 9-11, 2013 Trifecta 6 Silver, Chevy Chase Athletic Club, Chevy Chase, MD

August 24-25, 2013 Bare Hills Bronze, Baltimore. Deadline August 14, 12 PM.

Annual National Championships

If you have had a success with either bronze, silver or gold tournaments, you should strongly consider entering one of the national championships at your skill level.

U.S. Junior Squash Championships, March 14-16, 2014.  This is open only to the top 32 nationally ranked players (as of the rankings run of Feb. 27) who enter.  We recommend that you should be ranked 50 or better to even consider entering the tournament.  Seeding for the tournament is done based on the most rankings run 1.5 weeks before the tournament is played.

U.S. Junior Silver Squash Championships, April 11-13, 2014.  The top 32 nationally ranked players (as of the rankings run of Feb. 27) may not enter.  The best 32 nationally ranked players (ranked 33+) are accepted.  We recommend that you should be ranked 100 or better to even consider entering the tournament.  Seeding for the tournament is done based on the most rankings run 1.5 weeks before the tournament is played.

U.S. Junior Bronze Squash Championships, April 25-27, 2014.  The top 64 nationally ranked players (as of the rankings run of Feb. 27) may not enter.  We recommend that you should be ranked 130-150 or better to even consider entering the tournament.  Seeding for the tournament is done based on the most rankings run 1.5 weeks before the tournament is played.
